TOPIKA (“the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the App.

1. Data We Collect

TOPIKA does not collect any personal information. All learning progress, favorites, and streak data are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to any external server.

All study data is saved only on your device and never transmitted externally:

• SRS learning progress
• Favorite words
• Study streak and session history
• Backup data you choose to export

You can delete this data at any time by removing the app or clearing app storage in device settings.

Text-to-Speech

TOPIKA uses your device's built-in speech synthesis to read Korean words aloud. This processing happens entirely on-device. No audio or text is sent to any external server.

2. Third-Party Data Collection (Google AdMob)

The App includes Google AdMob, an advertising SDK. AdMob may collect the following data:

Data collected for advertising purposes (linked to identity, used for tracking)

The above data may be linked with third-party data for targeted advertising purposes.

Data collected for app improvement (not linked to identity, not used for tracking)

3. Advertising Identifier (IDFA)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App follows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You will be asked for permission before your data is used for tracking. If you decline, non-personalized ads will be shown instead.

5. Children's Privacy

TOPIKA is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
